My name is Max Montague and I am a photographer based in Brooklyn, NY. I find Photography to be such an inspiring and creative medium through which we can turn our perspectives into art. With photo, we can study our world or create entirely new ones. I search for beauty in the big and the small, The dramatic and the unassuming. As a graduate of the Hulbert Center for Southwest Studies at Colorado College, I have honed my practice around questions of land, human experience, and connection to nature. Whether it is a visual narrative or a stunning landscape, I like to ask the question:  How do landscapes influence our humanity?
